Workout Of the Day (WOD), or constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movements as programmed. The workouts are designed to be safe and effective for everyone. Whether you are trying to lose weight, get in better shape, gain strength or are a seasoned athlete, we will provide the coaching needed to meet your goal. This is the main hub of our programs, with hour-long classes consisting of warm-up, strength work, and conditioning.
Our introduction to CrossFit. In Foundations we have taken all the energy, fun, and challenge of our CrossFit classes and simplified them down to a program that anyone can jump right into and get a great workout regardless of experience. Whether you are just starting your fitness journey or are an avid exerciser looking for a change these are the perfect classes to get your first exposure to our training methods and to develop the foundations you will need to step confidently into our CrossFit Classes.
This class focuses solely on the development of proficiency and strength in the major barbell movements. There is no conditioning allowing for maximal focus on the development of strength and power. All forms of barbell squatting, deadlifting, clean and jerk, and snatch and all of their derivatives will be programmed for you to use as either a stand-alone strength program or as a supporting class to help you increase your confidence and performance in the CrossFit classes. Athletes will have a universal program for the day but will be modified as needed by the coach based off of experience and goals.
These classes help to bridge the gap between our Foundations and CrossFit Classes. The main difference between the two programs is the addition of the barbell snatch, clean and jerk, squats and deadlifts. These lifts bring a new level of accomplishment and fun to your strength and conditioning work but come with a learning curve that many athletes often find a little steep. High on both instruction and interaction this is the class where members both new and old can learn the nuances of these lifts in a slow paced environment focused more on the development of technique rather than strength.
Small group kids’ classes with a sports development- minded focus. Basic fitness skills are taught in a fun environment to help develop kids balance and agility, and foster an overall healthy lifestyle. This class is also a great way for kids to develop leadership and communication skills within a team environment.
This class focuses on the unconventional and odd-object lifting found in the sport of strongman. Lifts and exercises that you get a glimpse of in CrossFit classes take center stage as you will learn about and develop strength in its rawest form through the use of yokes, atlas stones, axle bars, farmer handles, sleds and more. Make no mistake this is not just a strength class though as you will learn a whole new level of conditioning that you did not know was possible. Loads are heavy, and intensity is high in this fun, challenging, and rewarding class.
Our bulletproof strength class serves as both an active recovery class as well as an accessory strength class to help build your resiliency to the rigors of both CrossFit and daily life. This class combines specific strength and mobility exercises to uncover and address many of the common sources of poor performance and the daily aches and pains that can result from a demanding lifestyle both in and out of the gym.
Work one-on-one with a coach who will custom design your programming week to week to either work in conjunction with, or completely independent of the CrossFit classes based on your individual goals and needs. A coach is not with you for your workouts, but acts more as an individual consultant.
