Coach/Owner David Rice has been CrossFitting for a decade, and is passionate about being the best father, husband, and friend he can be. “I see our gym as a mechanism for that,” he says. “I feel that as an individual’s strength and fitness improve, so does every facet of who they are.

Coaching our members is of utmost importance to David. “I love seeing their hard work pay off, watching the milestones and the little victories they achieve along the way. What I love most though, more than any PR or new skill developed, is that moment when they realize that they are a completely different person than when they started—that all of this is no longer a result of what they do, but who they are.”

David has been a trainer for 20 years, and was introduced to CrossFit by a client in 2005. “After looking over the website a few times, I finally gave ‘Cindy’ a try and I was hooked. I started incorporating it into my own training and eventually also into my client’s programming. In 2007, I decided to get certified and affiliate. Fast forward ten years and here we are.”

When not CrossFitting, David is an avid outdoorsman. “I try to hike and hunt as much as I can,” he says. “I also trying to catch as much time as possible with my family and friends and watch my son grow up.”
